Today I received this message from Avery Dennison and it was actually quite interesting. not so much the content but their approach.
Three things stand out:
Very active sourcing done (not sure why they reach out to me?) and a very direct approach to leads.
Through our sourcing and research efforts, we received your information and would like to extend to you the opportunity to register
Very clear in why they reach out to “highly talented individuals” (I’m very flattered of course but not sure I would reach out to a staffing manager ;-)
Our hiring activity has slowed a bit, but we want to be proactive in communicating with highly talented individuals
Their approach to TPR’s. This point does show that they didn’t screen very well. Are they trying to get it viral by just reaching out to everyone?
